Mariel Rodriguez returns to "It's Showtime"
20 Jun – Two years after taking a break from her show to focus on motherhood, Mariel Rodriguez has finally made her return to "It's Showtime".
As reported on PEP, the actress who appeared on the 18 June episode of the noontime show, couldn't help but express delight to be around her co-hosts again after so long.
"I really miss all of you, all of you here and those at home. It feels good to be back. It feels good to have a home to come back to," she said.
Rodriguez, who wore white for her comeback appearance, said she chose the colour because she missed two weddings - one between Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia, and another one of Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff.
She also shared a photo of herself at the show's studio on Instagram, and expressed her gratitude to everybody who has made her return an easy transition, including her mother and maids who were watching her little girl Maria Isabella, and husband Robin Padilla for showing support for her comeback.
"It has been the best experience of my life. It's really fun," she added.
Rodriguez left the show in June 2016 while pregnant with her daughter, which she gave birth to in the United States in November the same year.
