Maria Leitao is still in quarantine, says she is fine

7 Feb – Maria Luisa Leitao recently assured everyone that she is still doing fine, more than a week since she returned from Yokohama on a cruise that was also boarded by an 80-year-old man diagnosed with Coronavirus.

As reported on Mingpao, the TV personality who spoke to the media about her health condition, shared that she will continue to quarantine herself for the time being, as she has yet to complete the 14-day period of isolation.

"I haven't felt any discomfort. My health is fine, no problem whatsoever. I also have all the supplies needed. I am more worried about the other passengers," she said.

It is noted that ten people on board of the same cruise has now been confirmed to be infected by the virus, with three of them from Hong Kong having been hospitalised.

There were more than 200 people on board with fever symptoms, though the actual conditions are yet to be determined.

Columnist Chip Tsao, who was also on board the said cruise, said that he is also doing fine for now, and has been isolating himself for everybody's sake.
