Margie Tsang bids farewell to the late Tam Ping Man

10 Sep – Margie Tsang recently took to social media to express her sadness over the death of veteran actor Tam Ping Man.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who admitted to be surprised after hearing the news of his passing, stated that she felt reluctant as it happened too sudden.

"I grew up watching his Cantonese opera feature, and then was given the chance to work with him in TVB and ATV. He was a very funny man. I would often ask him to share funny stories about his experience in films when we worked together," she wrote.

Margie stated that while it was hard for her to accept it, she understood that life and death are the facts of life.

"I wish that Mr Tam Ping Man, one of my most respected seniors, will have a safe journey to the kingdom of heavens. There are many old friends in heaven waiting to meet you again. Rest in peace. I will miss you forever," she added.

Tam, known to many as the "dubbing king", passed away on 5 September, a few months after being diagnosed with late stage lung cancer. He was 86.
