Maggie Shiu plays a cheating wife in new series
9 Sep - After a year of hiatus from Hong Kong dramas, Maggie Shiu will be making her return in the upcoming TVB drama, "Perfect Rebel Companion" (tentative title).
According to Mingpao News, the actress, who has been busy filming in mainland previously, will be playing the role of a cheating wife.
Speaking to the media at the costume fitting session of the upcoming series at TVB City recently, Maggie revealed that her character is a hopeless romantic who longs to be loved by her lawyer husband (Moses Chan). When her feeling was not reciprocated, she decided to leave him for another man (Ben Wong)
However, despite the subject of infidelity, Maggie revealed that there will be no heavy scenes between her and Ben.
"The producer said that our relationship will be pure and simple. But we don't know if there will be romantic scenes later on," said the actress.
Meanwhile, Maggie's yet-to-be-aired series, "Captain of Destiny", has been selected as one of this year's TVB anniversary series.
