Maggie Cheung Ho Yee withdraws from TVB comeback drama?
13 Jun - It was reported that Maggie Cheung Ho Yee will not be a part of the new TVB drama, "Behind the Tower" after all.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who was supposed to make her TVB comeback with the new drama dubbed as the medical version of "The Queen of News", was rumoured to have been replaced by Jessica Hsuan.
Sources claimed that Maggie had to quit the role as the schedule would clash with another production.
Further fuelling the rumours were the fact that Maggie has already deleted her previous Weibo post which had prompted an offer from TVB in the first place.
Back in February, the actress wrote on Weibo that she hopes to one day play the role of a doctor. The post was then reposted by TVB producer Chung Shu Kai, seeming to confirm her participation in the new drama.
It is noted that the drama will also co-star Natalie Tong, Moon Lau, Moses Chan, Janice Ng, Cheung Wing Hong and Kenny Bee.
