MAFS Australia viewers have a surprising new favourite pairing

It appears that after the last few episodes of Married At First Sight Australia, viewers have a brand new favourite pairing, and it's not exactly who you'd expect.

Whilst fans have had their favourite couples since the start of the series, Tahnee and Ollie, we're looking at you, and have grown to love more couples such as Melinda and Layton as their bonds have developed. The latest pairing everyone is obsessed with, isn't romantic at all.

It is of course, the ultimate dynamic bestie duo Evelyn and Melinda, with fans saying they love the "strong friendship" between the two and have been enjoying watching them team up to "defeat" Harrison.

Whilst we're not condoning anyone "defeating" another, we are loving watching their strong bond develop on screen.

Evelyn joined the series halfway through with her wedding to Rupert, but she's already made quite an impression on fans, especially after she shared with Sandy what she heard on the infamous butt dial.

And it appears the butt dial was the key to bringing Melinda and Evelyn closer. During the dinner party in which Evelyn revealed the truth about what Dan and Hugo said, Evelyn defended herself and stood up to the men such as Harrison and Dan who tried to shut her down. Just like Melinda, Evelyn is straight talking and is all about calling other people out.

During the following commitment ceremony both women also seemed less than impressed with Harrison's behaviour on the couch.

In the last few episodes, where we saw the cast go on a group retreat, the pair appeared to be even closer, with the women running to the small guest house to secure the property for themselves and their husbands. And Melinda hilariously third wheeled Rupert and Evelyn in their romantic hot tub.

However, it appears the moment viewers have fallen head over heels for the two women was during boys and girls night when they snuck off from the rest of the group and eavesdropped on the boys' conversation. Whilst the conversation later resulted in problems for Mel and Layton, it brought the girls closer and seeing them sneak off giggling was just classic bestie behaviour.

Viewers have been obsessed with their friendship, in particular how they call out the men for their bad behaviour, how they support the other women and are never afraid to speak their minds.

One person said: "Get Evelyn and Melinda a talk show. These girls can see BS a mile off."

Another said: "I absolutely love the strong friendship, the fierce anti-Harrison alliance, The Queendom between Melinda & Evelyn."

And another said: "I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again…..Melinda + Evelyn =QUEENS!!!!!"

Ok, we definitely need to see more Melinda and Evelyn moments on screen ASAP. Is a spin-off show too much to ask?
