18 Jan – If you can't get close enough to the real Kajol to take a selfie, you can make do with getting tons of selfies with the Bollywood actress' wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore instead!

Kajol will be the 7th Bollywood star to join the IIFA Awards Experience, an interactive awards zone, at the wax museum in Singapore.

"It was an incredible process to have a sitting for my wax figure. It took approximately 4 hours to measure and get all the details.

"I love knowing that the artists are now working on every tiny detail and I'm so excited to see the finished result in Singapore!" said Kajol in a press statement.

More than 200 measurements were taken by the group of skilled Madame Tussauds sculpting team that travelled especially to Mumbai to meet with the actress and conduct a detailed sitting process. To ensure a truly authentic representation of Kajol, the team even matched her hair and eye colour.

The Bollywood superstar, one of India's most successful and highest paid actresses in the '90s, is well-known for her works that include "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Dilwale" and last year's "Velaiilla Pattadhari 2".

"Kajol is a major star, and we are honoured to partner up with her, her glamourous presence amongst the other Bollywood stars will be a great asset in the awards setting," said Craig Connor, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Singapore.

The IIFA Awards Experience, made in partnership between Madame Tussauds Singapore and International Indian Film Academy, is a zone where fans get to relive the International Indian Film Academy Awards. It was introduced with great success in April last year.
