"Mad Fate" to be screened at Berlin International Film Festival

16 Jan – Johnnie To's production, "Mad Fate" has been invited to be part of the special screening segment at the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).

The producer, who shared the good news, stated that it was a great honour for the movie to be invited to participate in the exhibition.

"I am most happy to take this opportunity to present my first collaboration with MakerVille to the audiences all over the world," he said.

"Mad Fate", directed by Cheang Pou Soi, tells the story of a fortune telling master (Gordon Lam) who is dedicated to help a woman solve a murder.

On the other hand, Gordon expressed, "Mad Fate will be meeting the audience for the first time at the Berlin Festival. I would like to thank Johnnie To and Cheang Pou Soi for giving me this opportunity to participate in this project. I am grateful to have a great team with me."

The movie also co-stars Lokman Yeung, Berg Ng and Wingsze Ng.
