Macy Chan bids farewell to TVB

2 May – After six years of working together with TVB, actress Macy Chan recently bid her farewell to the company.

TVB News World website reported that on 30 April, the 32-year-old actress ended her 6 year employment with TVB, and was seen stopping at the parking lot to take a photos for her memories.

Updating her Weibo afterwards, the actress wrote, "Goodbye! Thanks for everything in the past 6 years! It's a new beginning."

The actress, whose contract expired recently, decided not to renew it and expressed, "TVB gave me a very good contract renewal terms, but I feel that I need to reflect on my future because I have been with them since 2004."

When asked if her decision to leave TVB is related to the fact that her on-screen jobs had been reduced over the last year, she answered stating that she had been participating in various TVB variety shows and hosting events.

Macy revealed, "I have no immediate plans right now. I just want to rest and see more of the outside world."
