Luis Manzano defends John Lloyd Cruz
18 Sep - Luis Manzano doesn't think John Lloyd Cruz is doing anything wrong by wanting to have fun during his vacation in Cebu. The only thing he believes is that Cruz and his friends should keep their activities private.
Manzano, who spoke about the video controversy in which the actor can be seen singing, dancing, and acting chummy with his friends in a drunken state, stated that it would have been better if the videos were not uploaded online.
"It would be better if people did not see it. If you want to have fun, do it on your own time. Your moments are yours to keep," he said.
The actor added that while some fans really do worry about their favourite stars, a good majority are just looking to find fault in everybody.
"Based on the video, he's not harming anybody. But I think Lloydie has already apologised, because he believes to some degree that he may have set a bad example," said Manzano.
Nonetheless, the actor stressed that as long as nobody is hurt, Cruz should have the right to have fun however he wants.
