"Lovesick Ellie" adaptation to be screened in March 2024

7 Dec - Miyase Ryubi and Nanoka Hara are set to star in the live-action adaptation of the popular manga, "Lovesick Ellie".

The film, which is set to be released in March 2024, will have Nanoka playing the titular Ellie, a girl with a vivid imagination who fantasises about Akira Oomi, the most attractive boy in her school. She pens her thoughts on her social media account under the pseudonym Lovesick Ellie.

However, her fantasies are ruined after she finds out that Akira is nothing more than a snob, only to then receive an offer from Akira.

Speaking about his role in the movie, Miyase expressed, "I've never had the opportunity to do a classic school love story before, and my dream is finally coming true."

As for Nanoka, the actress says that she enjoys working with Miyase.

"He is a very friendly person who doesn't put up walls around anyone, so it's very easy to work with him and I am grateful for that," she added.
