London-based star Raye is set to make history at this weekend's Brit Awards, after being nominated for seven Brit Awards – which is a new record for one artist in a single year – and having been announced as the first female ever to win Songwriter Of The Year.

Raye's nominations include one for Artist Of The Year, a now-genderless category in which six of the 10 nominees are female, which is a marked departure from the all-male line-up of last year's nominees. According to the Brit Awards, 55% of this year's nominations feature women, either as solo acts or part of an all-female group.

Women are also set to dominate the evening's event with Raye, Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue among the performers confirmed for the ceremony.

Some high-profile men have instead been snubbed in the nominations this year. Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, who have both released albums that have reached number one, failed to gain recognition in the Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year categories.

This year's Brit Awards will be held at London's 02 Arena on March 2, and will once again be hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan. Here are all of this year's nominations.
