Love Island's Mitch reveals his surprising regret from time in the villa
Seeing as Mitchel Taylor has gained the nickname 'Messy Mitch' inside the Love Island villa, it's safe to say he's had *quite* the ride on this year's show. But his one regret from his time on series 10 might surprise you.
Mitch was one of the original Love Island cast this year, alongside the likes of Tyrique Hyde and Jess Harding. His journey was cut short during last night's show [30th July], when a viewer vote meant he and Ella B were dumped just days before the live final.
In his exit interview, Mitch was asked about whether he had any regrets during his time in the Love Island villa. Certain things might come to mind for viewers, like the way he handled *that* Grafties awards ceremony ("Has everyone else got anything to say? That's what I thought."), or how he went back and forth between Abi Moores and Ella B.
But actually, it turns out he had other ideas. In response to the question "Do you have any regrets?", Mitch responded, "My speech that I did to Molly during the recoupling - I quoted something about wanting her to be happy but with no one else but me - I regret that as I was half in half out already but I took a big leap.
"We didn’t have a closed book and I just jumped in with two feet and risked it. I should have just coupled up with someone else and left it."
Mitch is referring to the time when Zach Noble arrived in the villa as a bombshell, and wanted to get to know Molly, who he was coupled up with at the time. Mitch recoupled with Molly and gave a sassy reference to their relationship.
Love Island's live final takes place at 9pm tonight on ITV2.
