Love the Adidas Campus 00s? The Forum2000 Might Just Be Your New Fav

Following the success of the Campus 00s, Adidas is replicating the formula by making over another archival model with a skate-inspired look from the Y2K era.

The Adidas Forum2000 sees the model originally debuted in 1984 take on a similarly chunky appearance to the Campus 00s. While many of the panels remain the same as the Forum Low, the new version is defined by a thick and oversized Three Stripes motif to match its broader laces and fatter tongue.

One pair in men’s sizing is available in white, red and black, while another for women is dressed in white, pink and orange. Both of these iterations feature reflective lining for the new Trefoil badge on the tongue.

More colorways are likely to follow, as the Forum2000 is poised as an obvious successor to the Campus 00s.

Adidas launched the Forum in 1984 as its first performance basketball sneaker to be available as either a high-, mid- or low-top. An ankle strap was one of its signature features, and Michael Jordan even wore the shoe in the trials for the 1984 Olympics before signing with Nike.

The Campus 00s, a modified version of the basketball sneaker from the ’70s, first hit stores in 2022 but didn’t take off until a year later when TikTok began to sing its praises. Even assuming it won’t take nearly as long for the word to get out on the Forum2000, the opportunity is still rife to be an early adopter on a sneaker that hits many of the same notes.

The Adidas Forum2000 is out now on Adidas’ website for $120, and it should only be a matter of time before more retailers get stock and additional colorways are made available.
