The second series of Louis Theroux Interviews... finally has a release date.

The show sees acclaimed documentarian Louis Theroux speaking to some of the most iconic names in entertainment, and the latest episodes will be no different, featuring chats with titans from the world of sport, music, and acting.

Exactly one year since the first series hit our screens, Louis Theroux Interviews... will return to BBC Two at 9pm on November 7. There will be six episodes in the second series.

The interviews for this series have been confirmed and will include champion heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua, Top Boy actor Ashley Walters, Hollywood icon Joan Collins, Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, activist Chelsea Manning, and musician Raye.

The first series saw Theroux sit down with the likes of acting royalty Dame Judi Dench, comedian Katherine Ryan, survival expert Bear Grylls, grime artist Stormzy, singer-songwriter Yungblud, and popstar Rita Ora.

Speaking to Radio Times, Theroux shared his excitement over the return of the popular show.

"Working with the team on these six new programmes has been an enormous pleasure," he said.

"The six guests are all distinctive and brilliant in different ways, all of them people who have endured setbacks and huge successes, and who have something to share with the world based on their journeys through life.

"We have tried to build on the success of the first six Louis Theroux Interviews..., while pushing further this time into terrain that is gritty and difficult, exploring subjects like mental health, brushes with the law and political controversy."

Louis Theroux Interviews... series two returns to BBC Two at 9pm on November 7.
