Louis Koo wants to stop filming kung fu movies?
27 Sep - Louis Koo recently surprised many by declaring "no more kung fu".
On 24 September, the actor posted a video where he is seen contemplating in front of a wall filled with martial arts weapons, before taking them all out and throwing them in the trash.
This includes an ancient Chinese armour, several swords and spears.
"I want to announce one thing with you all. I have decided to leave... say goodbye to kung fu," he posted. "Please keep an eye on my new developments."
Many fans took to the comments to express their surprise, with one writing, "Say goodbye to kung fu? Why so cruel? Don't go breaking my heart!"
Meanwhile, others are more sceptical of the video, with some speculating that Louis might be doing a gimmick for his upcoming movie, the highly-anticipated and long-delayed movie sequel of his hit TV series, "A Step into the Past", especially after seeing the armour as one of the things he put away.
"The armour and the sword, does this mean "Back to the Past" is going to be released?" asked one netizen, referring to the title of the upcoming movie.
