Louis Koo: TVB didn't contact me to join the new drama!

10 Mar - Although he was a part of the cast of the original drama, "At the Threshold of An Era", Louis Koo recently revealed that he will not be making his comeback with TVB through the upcoming instalment.

According to Mingpao News, the actor, who appeared at a promotional event recently, stated that he has heard about the upcoming project, which was titled "At The Threshold of A New Era", but claimed that nobody approached him or made an offer for him to return.

When asked if he would ever film a TVB drama again in the future, Louis said that it would depend on his schedule and the script.

"But that also means that we may have to wait many years later before I could do it," said the ever-so busy star.

As to whether he will help save TVB's ratings, Louis responded, "Don't say that. The most important thing is to have a good script. Ratings are unpredictable."

The actor also expressed his surprise upon finding out that Dicky Cheung, Gallen Lo, and Jessica Hsuan are also making their TVB comeback, admitting he rarely turned on the television.

Anger mounts over China's response to deadly car attack
STORY: China's government faced mounting anger Wednesday over its handling of the deadly car attack there earlier in the week - and appeared to be taking steps to limit news of the incident. On Monday, a man drove into a crowd at a sports center, killing 35 and injuring 43. But the government took nearly a day to announce the death toll, and the incident has been little reported by state media.
