Louis Cheung wants son to understand the tough life of an actor

16 Apr – Hong Kong actor Louis Cheung recently admitted that he has no interest to let his son James become a child actor like himself.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended the "P Storm" audience appreciation event recently, stated that he will wait until his son is grown before worrying about whether or not the 12-year-old would like to be a part of the entertainment world.

"For now, I want him to learn how hard it is working on a production. I plan to bring him to the set to be my assistant, give him some minimum wage and see if he could do it," he said.

The idea, Louis explained, is to make James understand how the industry is operated and let him get the idea on what acting really is.

"He shouldn't think about being a star because acting is a job," he said.
