Lorraine Kelly shares fabulous throwback from the 1980s
Lorraine Kelly has shared a fabulous throwback photo from one of her shows in the 1980s.
Taking to Instagram, Lorraine showed fans the fun photo of herself alongside TV host Mike Morris. Captioning ths shot of the pair on a talk show sofa, Lorraine said: "FORTY years ago saw the launch of TVam. I started as Scottish correspondent in 1984 - and lucky enough to present the show from 1989 with Mike Morris - a kind, lovely fella and a total pro. Sadly missed. Golden Days."
In the photo, Lorraine is the very picture of '80s style. She wears her dark hair in a bob style with plenty of backcombing going on —a hugely popular trend at the time. For her clothing choice, she wears a chic, check print blazer (which has seen a style resurgence lately) and a red mini skirt, which she pairs with sparkly earrings and a watch.
Fans and celebrities alike were quick to comment on how much they loved the snap. Lorraine entertainment editor, Ria Hebden, commented: "What a legacy," and beauty presenter and Youtube star, Nadine Baggott, said: "This is wonderful - I remember the first time I did tv I wanted to dress just like you." Meanwhile, Richard Arnold, entertainment editor for Good Morning Britain simply commented "🙌🙌🙌"
Prior to sharing the amazing throwback photo with fans, Lorraine shared a photo of herself having a cuddle with an adorable miniature poodle.
"This gorgeous wee fluff ball is Scarlett O’Hara - she brought her mum @thesinittaofficial to see me," said Lorraine. "Both adorable."
