Lokman, Alton and Dee Ho launch a restaurant
28 Apr – MIRROR's Lokman Yeung and Alton Wong, as well as ERROR's Dee Ho have recently launched their restaurant, Thai Kau.
As reported on HK01, the three stars, who appeared at the launching ceremony together on 26 April, shared that they have invested a total of a seven-figure sum along with another partner, and hope to get a return within six months to one year at the earliest.
When asked if it was their dream to open a restaurant, Lokman stated that he didn't intend to invest in a restaurant initially, and would rather do a take-away service.
"But after doing it, I realised that it's fine, so I decided that we can open a restaurant," he said.
He also stated that he hopes that they will be able to open a second branch soon and then raise more money to expand the business.
Asked if they aim to have a branch in each district, Alton responded, "That's good."
He then added that managing and keeping a business is much more difficult than starting one, and that he hopes to do a good job maintaining the business first for the time being.
