Liza Soberano stars in Cole Sprouse's "Lisa Frankenstein"?

11 Aug – Rumours are rife that Liza Soberano is set to appear in the upcoming American movie starring Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.

Speculations about the actress' involvement in the project came after some fans noticed that she was tagged in an Instagram Story by JSLA Events' Jessie Stafford, who reposted Newton's post about the movie, titled, "Lisa Frankenstein".

"Sending you and your team all the amazing energy to kill this film," Stafford posted.

Liza herself hasn't confirmed whether or not she will appear in the movie, though eagle-eyed netizens found that both Newton and director of the movie, Zelda Williams have followed her on social media.

Williams, who is also the daughter of late comedian-actor Robin Williams, is making her directorial debut with the movie, which is penned by Diablo Cody of "Juno" and "Jennifer's Body" fame.

According to Collider, "Lisa Frankenstein" is set in 1989, where "unpopular high schooler accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage."
