Liza Soberano on Sofia Andres: She's just shy!
22 Mar – Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano recently defended her "Bagani" co-star Sofia Andres over allegations about her snobbish attitude towards the media.
As reported on Push, the actress who was asked about the allegations made by a blogger regarding Andres' attitude during interviews, stated that people misunderstood Andres' shyness to be arrogance.
"Even at the set, a lot of us would usually play together. But not Sofia. She would sit in the corner. We really have to grab her to join us," she said.
Soberano believes that Andres' upbringing and the fact that she is a second child played a part in shaping the actress' character.
"Bagani" director, Richard Arellano also shared similar views with Soberano, saying that Andres is modest. However, he stressed that the actress is very cooperative during the shoot, and would do anything that was asked of her.
"No matter how difficult it is, she never says no. She is very professional," he added.
