Liza Soberano confirms "Lisa Frankenstein"

16 Aug – After previous speculations, Liza Soberano finally confirms that she will be part of the upcoming Zelda Williams' movie, "Lisa Frankenstein". Williams is the daughter of late comedian-actor Robin Williams and the movie marks her directorial debut.

Liza shared the good news on social media with a screenshot of a Deadline news about her involvement in the movie, writing, "Ecstatic to be part of this film."

Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate the actress, including the movie's lead actress herself, Kathryn Newton, who wrote, "I'm ecstatic you're a part of this film!"

Speculations about the actress' involvement in the project came last week after some fans noticed that she was tagged in an Instagram Story by JSLA Events' Jessie Stafford, who reposted Newton's post about the movie.

According to Collider, "Lisa Frankenstein", which also stars Cole Sprouse, is set in 1989, where "unpopular high schooler accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage."
