Liza Soberano admits difficulties of being under quarantine

1 Jul – Liza Soberano recently admitted that it was hard being locked in her own home throughout the enhanced community quarantine earlier, mainly due to the fact that there were uncertainties when it comes to the real situation.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress who spoke about her lockdown experience recently, admitted that she was doing well the first month, thinking that it would not prolong, and spent her time reading and exercising.

But soon after, she found being in quarantine much harder than she expected, especially when she had to rely on what was relayed on the news instead of seeing the actual situation.

"Of course when you look back from all the pandemics that have happened in the world, they were really scary. I have a lot of family members in the US and I don't know how they're doing. It's scary knowing that they're at risk, just like I am here, and that I won't be able to do anything about it," she said.

The toughest part, she added, is the inability for her to fly to the United States or to fly her mother and other siblings to the Philippines to be with her.

"It's also hard because there's no physical contact anymore. I don't know, but it's just different seeing people up close and in person," she pointed out.

Nonetheless, Soberano is thankful that she was able to spend a lot of time with boyfriend Enrique Gil during the quarantine, and finding new things to do together.

"He is also good at cooking. He's been helping me cook and bake during quarantine," she added.
