Listen to John Legend's new track 'Love Me Now'

John Legend premiered his new single "Love Me Now" on Facebook Live Thursday.

After teasing his newest track on Instagram, Legend livestreamed a performance of the song from his home on Facebook Live and answered questions from fans.

The song is from his forthcoming album "Darkness and Light" and features collaborations with Chance the Rapper, Blake Mills, Miguel and saxophonist Kamasi Washington.

"It's all about loving and living to the fullest," he said before taking to the piano. "Don't wait until tomorrow. Hold the people close to you right now."

Legend also said it's his best work yet.

The album is expected to drop at the end of the year.
