TV presenter Lisa Snowdon joined the star-studded red carpet at the London premiere
of Oppenheimer last night (13 July).

The highly anticipated Christopher Nolan film starring Cillian Murphy is set to hit theatres on 21 July. Ahead of its release, the cast gathered in London's Leicester Square to celebrate the film.

For the occasion, Lisa wore a metallic gown from Georgia Hardinge, paired with black Sophia Webster heels. The floor-length dress is described as being "crafted from a liquid metallic fabric". It features gorgeous pleats all over in a sunray design with gathered detailing, and a draped asymmetric hemline. Simply stunning!

Lisa was photographed on the red carpet with partner George Smart. The presenter also shared a series of snaps taken in her hotel room before the evening began, with the caption: "About last night"

The pictures show Lisa in her sensational gown at the five-star Rosewood Hotel in London. Plus, a selfie with partner George.

Other guests at last night's event included Eurovision's Sam Ryder and physicist and TV presenter Brian Cox.

The cast of Oppenheimer, including Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt, were all in attendance on the red carpet last night. However, the film's director Christopher Nolan revealed the cast had left the premiere early in solitary with Hollywood's screenwriter's strike.

Before the film began, director Christopher told the audience that the cast had gone to "write their picket signs". In the US, writers have been striking for months outside the studios of major streaming services such as Disney and Netflix over working conditions and pay.
