Ling Man Lung is flattered being nominated with Andy Lau
21 Mar – Hong Kong actor Ling Man Lung recently admitted that he was both surprised and excited over his dual nominations at the upcoming Hong Kong Film Awards.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor whose debut in "Tomorrow Is Another Day" has earned him a Best Actor and Best New Performer nominations at the said awards, shared that being nominated is satisfying enough, that he has no thoughts about winning.
"To be nominated alongside big stars like Andy Lau and Louis Koo is flattering enough for me," he added.
Ling also shared that he will be attending the event with his family members, who are very supportive and excited of his first nominations.
Asked whether his popularity has increased since receiving the nominations, the actor admitted that his workload has increased and a lot more productions have been seeking him with new scripts.
"But I am not sure whether there is an increase in my salary," he added.
