Linda Wong says father Jimmy Wang's condition is stable
24 Feb - Linda Wong, daughter of martial arts actor Jimmy Wang, recently assured that her father is now stable after suffering from a stroke back in December 2015.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who spoke to the media about her father recently, has denied rumours that the family will be taking him to Hong Kong soon for further treatment.
"It is more suitable for my father to stay in the hospital in Taiwan," she said.
As to Jimmy's health condition, Linda said that the actor is currently stable, although she would rather not make any comments about his other situation.
"I will be going to Shanghai in early March for my two shows, and then I will return home to take care of my father," she said.
Reports of the "One-Armed Swordsman" star's health condition were published back in January last year, with sources revealing that he was put into intensive care in Bangkok after passing out at the airport.
It was also reported that Jimmy had to undergo two emergency brain surgeries to save his life.
This is not the first time he suffered from stroke. Jimmy had already suffered a mild stroke in China in 2011.
