Linda Chung misses her children while stuck in Hong Kong

11 Aug – Stuck in Hong Kong with not much to do, Linda Chung recently started her own live stream she aptly named "Suddenly Live" on social media to interact with fans and answer some questions.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who showed off her new shorter hairdo in the livestream - possibly in preparation for her comeback drama, "Children's Hospital", shared that she has never cut her hair that short before and that it has now become her favourite due to how easy it is for her to maintain it.

"I feel so light and you can rinse off the shampoo quicker. But my daughter Kelly loves my hair long, so right now she is not happy with the length," she said.

Speaking of her daughter, Linda stated that she really misses her children in Vancouver, after being away from them for weeks now.

"Originally we wanted to fly them to Hong Kong after me, but due to the pandemic, the plan was cancelled. I don't know when we will be able to do that," she said.

As for her comeback drama, which has yet to begin production especially now that Hong Kong is facing its third wave of the pandemic, Linda said that she can't disclose any more details about the project.

When asked about her most favourite drama out of all the series she has filmed throughout her career, Linda surprised many by saying that she likes her 2008 series, "Legend of the Demigods" the most, saying that it teaches people to be filial, to have a good heart and think about others.

"The series had a big influence in my life. It reminds me from time to time to use love as a driving force to do things," she added.
