Linda Chung graces the grand opening of FILA’s largest store in Singapore at Jewel Changi
SINGAPORE – Spanning 2,730 sq ft, Italian sportswear brand FILA opens its largest store in Singapore at Jewel Changi Airport on 25th July. Hong Kong actress Linda Chung was on hand to lend her star power at the official opening of the store.
Linda, who specially flew into Singapore to grace the grand opening, was the epitome of confidence and style when she took to the catwalk as the finale model of the fashion presentation.

Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore sat down with the 35-year-old actress and mum of two at the new concept store to learn more about her take on the athleisure style and that one sporty item she can’t do without.
She also got very real and down-to-earth about motherhood and the pressure about having a balanced life, which she expressed that, “you don’t have to balance life”.
On her take on the athleisure style, she said that she’s about comfort nowadays ever since she became a mother, but it’s important to represent who you really are.
She was decked head-to-toe in the 3.1 Phillip Lim x FILA collection. She also mentioned that, “This sportswear that I am wearing now, it's perfect for me as a mother. Sometimes you just want to put on a jacket, you just want to put on a T-shirt and just go out. But if it is stylish already with a simple cutting, nice prints and colours, that's already going to make you look good.”
Pointing to the 3.1 Phillip Lim x FILA jacket she was wearing, “I like to have a nice jacket and this kind of jacket. I can match it with anything.”
When Yahoo Lifestyle tried to check out that same jacket and pleated skirt combination in-store on the day itself, we were told that it was not available in the Singapore stores yet. If you are keen to get your hands on the 3.1 Phillip Lim collection, quickly snag them at the FILA stores.
3.1 Phillip Lim x FILA collection
The new store carries an extensive collection of FILA favourites from namely FILA White Line, FILA Originale, 3.1 Phillip Lim x FILA and FILA Red Line; as well as FILA FUSION, that incorporates retro and trendy elements into its designs, bringing streetwear to a new level to cater to the younger consumer demographic.
Something note-worthy are the store-exclusive items that feature Singapore’s city skyline, the iconic Merlion and Singapore Flyer motifs from the FILA White Line series that will be available from mid-August 2019 onwards.
FILA’s latest collaboration with American fashion designer Phillip Lim saw a collection of elevated and chic sportswear injected with earth tones and monogram prints. We love how luxe modernism meets the heritage of FILA to create youthful sophisticated designs for this collection.
