Linah Matsuoka denies involvement with Alvin Chau
2 Aug - Hong Kong-based Japanese model Linah Matsuoka has denied rumours that she is involved with playboy tycoon, Alvin Chau.
As reported on Mingpao, tabloids previously claimed that Alvin who has taken a liking to the Japanese model, has been flying her off to her modelling engagements in Europe via his private plane, and juggling his relationship with wife Heidi Chan and girlfriend Mandy Lieu altogether in London.
It was also reported that Alvin's girlfriend and baby mama Mandy Lieu was furious after hearing that the casino tycoon is seeing Linah behind her back.
However, when asked about it recently, Linah denied the rumours and said, "I was never in London. I haven't been to Europe, although I wouldn't decline a brand invitation to go."
She also denied that she avoided going to London so not to stumble across Mandy, saying that she didn't even know the model is living in the city.
"For now, I have not been invited by anybody or any brand to come to London. And why would I be worried about seeing Mandy anyway?," she said.
Linah stated that while she would go out for a meal with Alvin, she is not involved romantically with the businessman, and would never be a third party in any relationship. The model stated that a third party was the reason why her own father left her mother and the family, and that she would never do the same to others.
"Do not pull me into their world. They are who they are, but I am still me! It's not in my character to ruin other people's family," she said.
When asked if she is dating anybody, Linah said that she is currently single, but assured that the rumours with Alvin has not affected her in any way.
