Lin Chi-ling used body double in CNY performance?
11 Feb – Taiwanese-model Lin Chi-ling has received a lot of praises for her water ballet performance at CCTV's Lunar New Year Gala, but now it turns out that the actress may have used a stunt double after all.
As reported on HK01, the actress previously showcased several stunts during her performance, from jumping into the water from a great height, diving straight into the middle of a formation and performing synchronised swimming - much to viewers' awe and admiration.
However, a netizen has recently claimed to be Lin's body double, writing on Weibo that the whole team rehearsed for 20 days to create the perfect performance.
"I am very honoured to be the body double for Chi-ling. She was very dedicated!" she added.
On the other hand, Lin recently took to social media to thank the team, saying, "This is a product of dedication and sincerity. When I saw all of you, I remind myself to give my very best to make the performance a success. Hard work leads to happiness! I wish you all a Happy New Year!"
However, she made no mention about her stunt double in particular.
