Lil Nas X is going for the drama at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.

The "Industry Baby" rapper has arrived at this year's 2022 VMAs red carpet wearing yet another one of his unconventional and statement-making ensembles.

Eagle-eyed fans might recognize the look from this year's Met Gala, where supermodel Iman wore a jaw-dropping gold iteration that was designed in collaboration between Reed and Dolce & Gabbana.

Nas has long been known for his boundary-breaking sense of style. At last year's VMAs, the star stepped out in a custom lavender tuxedo with a matching cape train from Versace. The piece featured an asymmetrical neckline and was studded with purple sparkles across the blazer and the hem of the pants. He wore the look with matching lilac boots. The outfit at the time seemed to pay homage to Lil’ Kim’s iconic purple, breast-baring jumpsuit from the 1999 VMAs, Essence reported.

Previously, Nas attended the 2019 VMAs in a bedazzled silver-sequined suit with lacy frills designed by Christian Cowan. He also wore matching hand-painted glitter cowboy boots from Pskaufman.
