Li Yundi's rumoured breakup sparks old gay rumours

1 Sep - Classical pianist Li Yundi's recent rumoured breakup has sparked speculations about his previous feelings for Taiwanese singer-songwriter Wang Leehom yet again.

To recap, Wang and Li were previously rumoured to be romantically involved due to their extremely close friendship. And while fans never actually believed their denial, it was automatically debunked by reports of Wang's relationship with his current wife, Columbia University student Lee Jinglei in 2013.

Not a day after Wang announced his relationship, Li did the same, by announcing that he is dating another Columbia University graduate, Tian Fei - sparking cruel jokes from fans that he was trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to retaliate for Wang's supposed betrayal.

Nonetheless, it was assumed that Li continued his relationship with Tian Fei, until just recently when fans noticed that Li has deleted his love confession post to his girlfriend.

While Li has yet to respond to the rumours, Netizens have been making their own speculations whether or not he is still in love with Leehom.
