Li Xiaolu files lawsuit over allegations of affair
6 Feb – After a month of keeping mum about the extramarital affair allegations against her, Chinese actress Li Xiaolu recently released a statement saying that she has filed a libel lawsuit against her defamers.
As reported on Chinese Herald, Li's studio uploaded the statement online, which said that the media has been hounding Li ever since the alleged affair made the news, and that she was insulted and humiliated by netizens on social media.
The harassments reportedly have also affected Li's family, including her five-year-old daughter.
The studio also stated that they have commissioned a lawyer to investigate and collect evidence on the perpetrators and that they have already filed a lawsuit.
Back in December, the actress was accused of cheating on actor husband Jia Nailiang after she was photographed spending the night with Chinese rapper, PG One.
Jia had since spoken up about the issue, and asked for the public to give them some space to deal with the issue.
