Li Xiang denies hosting "Sisters Who Make Waves"

21 Mar – TV personality Li Xiang has recently denied rumours that she will be hosting the fourth season of the hit Mango TV show, "Sisters Who Make Waves".

"The Farewell" actress clarified such rumours, which have been circulating online for the past few days, via Weibo on 20 March, writing, "I will not be participating as a host for [Sisters Who Make Waves]. Too many people have asked me, so I hereby clarify it!"

At the same time, she also thanked Hunan Satellite TV as well as Mango TV, which produced the show.

It is noted that the first two seasons were hosted by actor Huang Xiaoming, before he was replaced by Xie Na last year.

This is the latest rumour regarding season four that has now been debunked. Earlier, Canadian singer Avril Lavigne denied reports that she would be competing in the reality show, which features 30 female celebrities over 30 who must compete to debut in a seven-member girl group.
