Levi's and blue jeans have been synonymous for over a century. Invented in 1873 by Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis, they went on to get a U.S. patent on their denim and with metal hardware pants, known then as “waist overalls” or simply “overalls”. We've got the baby boomers to thank when they adopted the name “jeans” around 1960s, which is basically what we know now as one of the most popular apparels on earth.
