Lee Young-ae to make a movie comeback

1 Mar – After 13 years of big screen hiatus, South Korean actress Lee Young-ae is set to make a movie comeback with "Find Me".

According to JoongAng Daily, the news was confirmed by Lee's agency Good People Entertainment, saying that she will be playing the role of a mother who loses her mentally disabled son.

It was reported that the actress decided to do the movie as she was moved by the interesting story and the character that was offered to her.

The movie is scheduled to begin filming in the first half of 2018 and is currently still in the process of casting.

Lee's last movie was the Park Chan-wook-helmed "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" - which is the third instalment of the filmmaker's vengeance trilogy that includes the hit "Oldboy".

Aside from the new movie, Lee, who previously made her acting comeback with "Saimdang", will also be returning with another drama, "Different Dream", written by Jo Gyu-won of "Iris" fame.
