Lee Yee Man doing well since leaving TVB

7 Sep – Former TVB artiste Marine Lee (Lee Yee Man) recently stated that she is doing well for herself, despite no longer getting any salary from TVB following her departure.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media about her projects since leaving the company, stated that she has opened a coffee shop and even started vlogging on YouTube.

"The income is less than that in TVB, but it's fine. I have always done adverts and promotions, and some client indicated that they want artistes that are not under contract with TVB to reduce issues," she said.

Lee added that TVB is not the only broadcaster in Hong Kong and that there are other stations that could sign an artiste.

"But it is a trend nowadays not to sign with a TV station," she added.

It was back in April that Lee left her home network, following rumours about her political stance.
