Lee Tim Sing to retire from TVB
21 Mar - While former producers Lee Ka Ho and Mui Siu Ching have returned to the company, TVB producer Lee Tim Sing is set to retire at the end of March after a 48-year career in television.
As reported on HK Channel, the 68-year-old producer, who has produced many memorable dramas including "Rosy Business", "The Fate", and "Safe Guards", revealed that he is thankful that TVB has allowed him to continue working even after his retirement age.
"I will miss working, but sooner or later, I must retire. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family and grandchildren," said Lee.
TVB has also held a farewell banquet for the prolific producer, attended by various stars from TV Queen Nancy Wu, former leading TVB star Sheren Tang, actress Kara Hui, to former TVB actor-turned-Hong Kong star Andy Lau.
Although many people attended the party, Lee said that he is touched since he never asked anybody to come and celebrate him, adding that retirement is just a small matter to him.
