Lee Sun-kyun found dead in parked car
27 Dec – Actor Lee Sun-kyun was revealed to have passed away.
JoongAng Daily reported that the police found the "Parasite" actor dead in a car parked in Seongbuk District in central Seoul on 27 December.
The search happened after they were contacted by Lee's manager.
It is noted that the actor had gone through three rounds of questioning by the police on suspicions of using illegal drugs including marijuana, with the last round having taken place on 23 December.
Lee reportedly said that he was tricked by a hostess working at a high-end bar in Gangnam into taking the drugs at her home, and that he didn't know what he was taking.
It was unclear whether Lee intended to commit suicide.
He was 48.
