Lee Jinglei's rep denies she has violated court rulings
15 Feb - Lee Jinglei's legal representative has dismissed allegations made by Wang Leehom's lawyer that the singer's ex-wife has violated rulings made by the courts.
The whole issue sparked earlier this week, when Jinglei posted a message on Instagram Story that read, "I've been watching it all this time... Don't consume the children anymore."
She then added two hashtags with the words "Take off the mask, is it hard to be a human" and "truth will always reveal".
Although she mentioned nobody in the post, many speculated it to be directed to Leehom, who recently performed his new song about missing one's family or children.
When asked about it, Leehom's rep stated that they didn't know why Jinglei would post such a statement, but that she has violated three rulings from the New York Court and two rulings made by the court in Taiwan. The lawyer, however, did not disclose details of the rulings.
In response to the violation allegation, Jinglei issued a statement via her lawyer, saying, "Ms. Li has been doing her best to help Mr. Wang get along with his family. There is absolutely no violation of the ruling mentioned by Wang Leehom's lawyer."
"I sincerely hope that Mr. Wang will put his family's interests first, not for a comeback, instead of his lawyers using family members as a news-selling point. This is not a manifestation of sincere love for family members."
