We learned some *very* interesting news about Britney from her recent Tumblr Q&A

Britney Spears is definitely a musical icon — and while she’s had some troubled years in the past, her fans have stood beside her, realizing how much influence she’s brought to the pop world throughout the years, and how strong her music still is today.

Also great: Britney Spears is not afraid to interact with her fans through fun ways — case in point, her official Tumblr.

Yesterday, Britney held a little Q&A session that allowed Tumblr users to get a chance to ask their most pressing questions, both about her current music and past hits. She also answered some intriguing questions about her favorite music today, as well as what she’s watching on TV. Here’s a few of her most interesting responses.

1. Yes, she’s a fan of Pokémon Go.

Even better, she’s playing the game with her two sons. Hey, love it or hate it, Pokémon Go brings people together.

2. She loves her some Meghan Trainor.

For Britney, pop star wars are a thing of the past. She’s a fan of Meghan Trainor, and just like us, likes grooving along to “Me Too.” It seems like the love is mutual — Meghan recently mentioned that she found our favorite “Work Bi**h” singer to be one of her inspirations.

3. Britney likes tuning in to some classic TV shows.

Well… classic to us, that is. She loves checking out the adventures of Carrie, Miranda and the crew, and also loves watching Friends (maybe it’s the fact that both take place in New York City?)

4. She’s a book nerd.

While we didn’t get a full summer reading list, she did mention in another comment that she’s a huge fan of Danielle Steele. It’s kind of sweet knowing that Britney spends the downtime she has surrounded by books.

5. She definitely has a favorite outfit (and it’s one of our favorites, too.)

“Toxic” was released in 2003, but 13 years later, Britney still digs the ensemble. And I mean, look at it. It’s incredible.

6. Her new material will be incorporated into her Vegas show.

Britney has been performing at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas for a while now, and she doesn’t have plans on cutting her residency short. In fact, at the end of last year, she extended her show for another two years. It’s nice to know that she’ll be mixing it up a bit with her new songs.

7. Musically, she’s not planning on playing it safe.

Britney’s music has changed a lot throughout her long career, and it’s great to know that she has no problems exploring new avenues. You can expect Britney’s next album soon — while she didn’t give a date, she did tease that more news will come soon.
