We Learned Some Uh, Very Revealing Things About Christina Anstead During the Premiere of Her New Show
The premiere of HGTV's Christina on The Coast has finally arrived, and we were not disappointed. Besides the fact that we got to see a beautifully designed home come together, we also learned a ton about our favorite home renovation expert, Christina Anstead (including an NSFW first date moment with her husband, Ant!).
The premiere episode featured the star of the show making over her childhood friend Cassie's home, which felt much more personal than anything we've seen Christina do so far. Taking the California home from drab to fab, Christina on The Coast's debut taught us a whole lot more than how to open up your floor plan.

Christina made out with someone by a trash can?!
After reminiscing with Cassie about their prom photo, Christina revealed she may or may not have kissed someone by a trash can in the exact house she was renovating...Ant, close your ears!
All-white kitchens are actually Christina's nightmare.
Once Cassie mentioned she wanted one, Christina immediately groaned. "Everyone wants an all-white kitchen!" she screamed. I mean, she's not wrong.
Christina and Ant fell in love at first sight.
We learned this as we watched them drive around Newport Beach, on the lookout for the perfect house to start their new family in.
On Christina and Ant's first date, he walked her to the bathroom...and then kissed her!
What a power move. We're learning so much about this power couple already.

It seems like we'll be seeing A LOT of Ant in this new series.
Ant has made a few cameos in the premiere episode, so it looks like we'll get to see more of their relationship as the show progresses. I'm definitely not complaining.
Christina and her childhood bestie Cassie are so close, they give each other spray tans.
We learned this watching the women spray the new fireplace white with a device that looks very similar to a spray tanner-and we learned a few ticks and trips for the perfect tan. Talk about friendship!
It looks like we'll seeing Christina and Ant search for a family home this season.
After looking at a gorgeous Newport Beach home, the couple decided it wasn't the one for them. They need a yard for their kids to play in, duh!
This was the most personal project Christina has ever done in her life.
I may or may not have cried during the big reveal-and that pergola? Backyard goals.
Christina is an expert champagne popper.
I mean, did you see that concentration?! Hopefully we'll see more of that action in the upcoming episodes of Christina on The Coast.
