Due to his outstanding performance in High Kick 3, Lee Jong Suk was picked to replace IU’s MC spot for a couple weeks while she was busy with her concerts. The rising actor even put on a welcome performance of the popular song, Troublemaker! Lee Jong Suk later left the show half a year later to concentrate on filming School 2013, and thanked the audience for their support even though he lacked in a lot of areas.

Kim Woo Bin - Mcountdown

Thanks to his rising popularity, Kim Woo Bin was chosen as the MC of Mcountdown, and started work on August 15 in 2015. Kim Woo Bin had previously proved that he could take on the role after his stint as a guest MC. However, due to his movie filming as well as fan-meeting tour, Kim Woo Bin stepped down from his position in February 2016.

Suzy - Music Core

In 2010, SHINee’s Onew & Minho, T-ara’s Jiyeon and Miss A’s Suzy took the stage as Music Core’s new MCs, and marked the first time that 4 idols were hosting a music program together. Suzy & Jiyeon both left their position in 2011 due to conflicting schedules, but expressed their regret in leaving and said that it had a been a fun & memorable experience for them.

Kim So Hyun - Music Core

The young actress along with SHINee’s Minho and Noh Hong Chul were the next MC trio to take over the MC spots from SNSD’s Taeyeon, Seohyun and Tiffany on Music Core. After 2 years, Kim So Hyun stepped down in 2015 along with then co-host, Zico. She said that it was an honor to have hosted for so long, and thanked her co-hosts, producers and staff.

Park Bo Gum - Music Bank

Park Bo Gum and Red Velvet’s Irene took over the Music Bank MC spots in May 2015. The pair often made headlines for their romantic chemistry and frequent pranks they played on each other. They bid farewell to the program in June 2016 with a special performance and a tearful speech.
