Lea Salonga is no fan of Instagram Stories

25 Jun – If you're one of those people who don't understand the significance of Instagram Stories, don't fret it, because Lea Salonga doesn't get it as well.

As reported on Inquirer, the musical star recently took to Twitter to express her thoughts about the social media feature most loved by youngsters, writing, "Dear young ones that enjoy making IG/FB stories, as fine and good as all that is, please remember to live real life as it happens without having to video it. That is all."

She also responded to a fan who agreed with her post, saying that while she understands the use of Instagram, she could not fathom the need to post a video online just to let it disappear after 24 hours.

When a fan explained that some people just want to share things but not keep it permanently on their feed, Salonga said that she still doesn't get it.

"I totally understand taking photos to keep for the long haul. I love doing that too," wrote the singer. "But when it's excessive, and then disappears... [it's like you made a big effort, but it will be gone anyway]."
