Lau Pa Sat unveils over 20 new stalls, including famous MICHELIN-recommended hawkers
If you are someone who frequently dines at the famous Lau Pa Sat, you’re in luck — the food centre will be introducing more than 20 new hawker stalls to its 52,000 square feet retail space, making your dining experience even more exciting.
Lau Pa Sat, which was established in 1894, is one of Singapore’s most iconic hawker markets — it is often packed with locals and tourists looking to grab a bite. The food centre is home to over 80 Food & Beverage (F&B) stalls, including a wide assortment of different cultures and cuisines.
Many of the new stalls to open are well-known hawkers that have already made a name for themselves in the local food scene. Dig into food from MICHELIN-recommended eateries like Lau Fu Zi Fried Kway Teow, a fried noodle stall from Old Airport Road which has established a loyal following, and Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, a popular nasi lemak chain with outlets around the country.
Other famous stalls you can find include Ri Ri Hong Mala Xiang Guo, Kallang Airport Wanton Noodle, Lu Bian Grilled Fish, Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh and Munchi Pancakes.
For a more atas dining experience, check out Flames, a Western stall that serves high-end dishes like king prawns, mussels and lobsters. It even allows for diners to pair their dishes with authentic Italian wines, specially curated by in-house wine sommeliers.
