Lau Ka Ho denies competing with Catherine Tsang

13 May - TVB producer Lau Ka Ho stressed recently that he isn't back in the company to compete with TVB Director of Drama Production, Catherine Tsang.

According to Oriental Daily News, the producer, who recently returned to the company with co-producer wife Mui Siu Ching after a three year stint with NowTV, stated that their goal is only to make better dramas.

"Let's not talk about this. There is no need to compare us. Catherine works hard as well," he said.

Previously, it was rumoured that TVB has decided to make an offer for the producing duo to return to the company due to Catherine's failure to produce dramas with good ratings.

Meanwhile, when asked if he will increase the production budget for his new projects, Lau said that it will all depend on the script.
