Lau Dan respects son and ex-wife decision to end marriage
27 Dec – Hong Kong veteran star Lau Dan recently stated that he will respect his son Hawick Lau and actress Yang Mi's decision, following the former couple's announcement that they have ended their marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, Lau, who appeared in TVB City to continue filming his sitcom, "Come Home Love: Lo and Behold", shared that the two of them are currently doing well.
"I don't know the reason behind the divorce, since they have already made the decision when they told me about it," he said.
He also dismissed the allegations that Hawick has cheated on Yang Mi with another woman, and expressed hope that everybody will respect their decision.
As for his granddaughter Noemie, Lau stated that he and his wife will continue to raise her in Hong Kong as they have done so for the past few years.
