Lai Lok Yi is not worried about postponed series

29 Aug – Although some of his new projects have been pushed back for now, Lai Lok Yi recently assured that he is doing just fine.

As reported on HK01, the actor, whose new drama "Agent C9" has postponed its airing date, stated that he agreed with the decision due to the fact that all of his dramas would have been airing back-to-back otherwise.

"It was supposed to air after "My Life as a Loan Shark" and my variety show, "Forever Young". But I didn't think it was wise to have all my shows airing all at once. It was good that "Agent C9" was pulled out," he said.

On the other hand, in regard to the issue of "Who Wants a Baby 2" having postponed production, Lai said that he was told the delay was due to Ali Lee's involvement in "Legal Mavericks 2".

"It would be impossible for the drama to complete filming in just two months, which is why our drama was postponed. We'll just wait until "Legal Mavericks 2" complete filming," he said.

As for rumours that Ali has been put on forced hiatus by TVB, Lai said that he doesn't know how many of the rumours surrounding the station are true.

"I hope to sit down with Ali as soon as she's done with filming so that we can talk about what to do soon," he said.
